Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University is the leading university of the northern region who driving Phitsanulok Province to qualify for the final round of assessment and selection of provinces that have municipal solid waste management “Clean Province” of 2023. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatchay Chanprateep, Assistant President for Buildings Facilities, jointly presented information to be considered by the Assessment Subcommittee.

               “Clean Province” is a project to select four provinces for the assessment of waste management. In the final round Northern provinces, including Lamphun Province, Phitsanulok Province Phichit Province, and Lampang Province were qualified in this round.  Phitsanulok Province has been selected for the 2023 community waste management contest (Northern Provinces Group), with an overview of the province’s waste management through an exhibition of works and waste management innovations of local government organizations. , Government agencies, educational institutions, companies, department stores, etc., a total of 22 booths at Sri Vajirachot Auditorium, Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University (July 22, 2023)

          In addition, the sub-committee visited the work and innovation exhibition. “Management of solid waste and the environment Phitsanulok Province according to the circular economy development framework under the BCG Model to achieve management towards Phitsanulok The City of Recycling ” at Central Plaza Phitsanulok, Central Plaza Phitsanulok. On this event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jakkrit Sri-laor from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Technology demonstrated of how to converting wet waste pellets into organic fertilizer which can be used to grow vegetables in the “Farm Suk” plot located in the area of Central Plaza Phitsanulok which is collaboration with Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University.
